You can pretty much wrap anything in bacon and it would be delicious, but try wrapping pears as an appetizer or even a dessert. You’ll be happy you did. Promise!
All you need for this quick and simple snack are a few pears (we used 2 here), some honey, freshly ground pepper and 4-5 slices of bacon.
Here’s what you’ll do:
- Preheat oven to 350
- Cut your pears in quarters
- Wrap each quarter with bacon. Stretch the bacon out a little before you wrap the pears, and cut off any excess. You should be able to wrap 2 pieces of pear with each slice of bacon.
- Lay your bacon wrapped pears on a baking tray lined with foil then drizzle with honey and sprinkle a pinch of freshly ground pepper.
- Bake for about 30 mins or until bacon is cooked.
