Slow Cooked Spicy Chicken and Chick Peas

Here’s what you’ll need:

  • Obviously you will require a slow cooker for this recipe
  • 4 chicken breasts cubed
  • 1 can of chick peas drained
  • 1 can dice no salt added tomatoes (24oz can)
  • 1 fresh chilli pepper chopped
  • 1 small onion chopped
  • 2 tsp cumin
  • 1 tbsp chilli powder
  • 1 tsp dried chilli flakes
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp minced garlic
  • 2 cups rice

Directions:

  1. Add all ingredients to slow cooker. Mix well and turn on low for 4.5 hours.
  2. Cook rice as per directions.
  3. ENJOY!

Serves 4
